Children's Courses
Pre-Ballet (Ages 3 & 4)
The smiles abound as our littlest stars discover the Joy of Dance in this fun and lively class. Students learn basic movement and coordination while the cheerful, energetic environment inspires confidence and expression.

Ballet Technique I/II (Ages 5 & Up)
Fun and energy remain the focus as our blossoming ballerinas sharpen their skills, build fit bodies and sharpen minds. Students will develop a firm technical base and important listening skills in preparation for ballet stardom.

Core Courses
Ballet Technique III/IV/V
Our ballerinas' skills truly shine as they focus on beautiful presentation, balance and grace. With greater attention to precision, self-discipline and refinement our students nurture both their talents and self-confidence.

Pointe I/II
Our supportive methods prepare young ballerinas for the challenge and rewards of dancing en pointe. Students will first develop lovely arches, strong feet and legs, then focus on balance and technique. Advanced pointe students will perform the most famous ballet roles with skill, grace and complete confidence.

Classical Variations
As they study variations from the great ballets, our ballerinas will be encouraged to add artistry, emotion and creative expression to their dance. This series offers each student the opportunity to showcase her presentation and stage presence as she begins to evolve from skilled student to enchanting performer.

Character Dance
In this CBT-exclusive program, students will study the many folk dance forms that have become part of classical ballet. The Italian tarantella, Polish mazurka, Spanish flamenco and many other traditions will add valuable artistic range and cultural depth to each student's repertoire.

Advanced Courses (Director's Permission required)
CBT Elite
This series allows a select group of outstanding students the opportunity to train under the Director's personal supervision. Elite students will see faster advancement both artistically and intellectually and receive special recognition during CBT stage productions. All students wishing to advance to university-level study and beyond are strongly encouraged to apply.

Prima Ballerina
Attaining Prima Ballerina status requires a performer to conquer the stage with captivating beauty and commanding presence. Students must be committed to the highest levels of technique and artistry to apply. Those accepted will receive personalized coaching and choreography built around their unique talents to awaken their star quality.

Semi-Professional
Students will receive rigorous, professional-style coaching to perfect a seamless blend of technique and artistry. CBT Semi-Pro alumni have gone on to dance on stages around the world, and this course is highly-recommended for students with serious ambitions to reach the professional level.

International Program (New for 2011!)
CBT is proud to announce its International Study Program dedicated to encouraging artistic exchange between nations. Foreign students wishing to study at CBT and CBT students wishing to study abroad should contact the Director for more information.

CBT Performing Companies
CBT Company
Take the stage with CBT in professionally choreographed productions of such famous ballets as Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. The Company is divided into three sections - Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby – according to level and rehearsal days. CBT company offers members the opportunity to gain valuable stage experience and to unleash their creative potential.

Le Cirque
Le Cirque offers professional instruction and performance opportunities in the arts of acrobatics, flag-twirling and rhythmic gymnastics. Members will learn thrilling skills and have the opportunity to compete and perform in nationwide events. Weekend classes available; please contact CBT Staff for more information.
